December 2nd 2021

A bright ball of fire could be seen on the first of December 2021  above Castilla La Mancha skies at 22n59 UT.

This phenomenon has been recorded by the detectors that the SMART Project operates in the Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo), Madrid and Seville observatories.

Likewise, one external surveillance camera from the Calar Alto Observatory in Almería was also able to record this event.

November 28th 2021

A bright ball of fire could be seen on November 28 on the coast of Cádiz (southwest of the Iberian Peninsula) at 22n39 UT.

This phenomenon has been recorded by the detectors that the SMART Project operates in the Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo), Madrid, Seville and Huelva observatories.

Likewise, two external surveillance cameras from the Calar Alto Observatory in Almería were also able to record this event.

November 9th 2021

On the nights of November 7th and 8th 2021, two fireball flew above the skies of southern Spain.

Both events were registered with the SMART Project’s detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), La Sagra and Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Hita (Toledo) and Seville observatories.

As usual, some of the external surveillance cameras located at Calar Alto Observatory in Almería, also registered this phenomena.

The time of the first one on november 7th was at 22h52 UT, while the second one on november 8th took place at 19h13 UT.

October 13th 2021

At 20h29 UT of last October 13th 2021, a fireball flew above Valencia (east Spain) skies. 

This object was registered with the SMART Project's detector operated at Calar Alto (Almería), La Sagra (Granada), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Hita (Toledo) and Madrid observatories. 

Calar Alto Observatory, in Almería, also could follow this event with two of the external surveillance webcams. 

September 16th 2021

At 20h25 UT of September 15th 2021, a bright fireball could be seeing above Badajoz province (Extremadura, southwest of Spain).

This object was registered with the SMART Project's detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo), Huelva, Seville and Madrid observatories.

This time, two of the external surveillance webcams operated at Calar Alto Observatory in Almería, also recorded the nice event.
