October 13th 2021

At 20h29 UT of last October 13th 2021, a fireball flew above Valencia (east Spain) skies. 

This object was registered with the SMART Project's detector operated at Calar Alto (Almería), La Sagra (Granada), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Hita (Toledo) and Madrid observatories. 

Calar Alto Observatory, in Almería, also could follow this event with two of the external surveillance webcams.

September 16th 2021

At 20h25 UT of September 15th 2021, a bright fireball could be seeing above Badajoz province (Extremadura, southwest of Spain).

This object was registered with the SMART Project's detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo), Huelva, Seville and Madrid observatories.

This time, two of the external surveillance webcams operated at Calar Alto Observatory in Almería, also recorded the nice event.

September 9th 2021

A very nice and long (in duration) fireball flew above Ciudad Real province (mid-south Spain) on September 8th 2021 at 22h47 UT.

This event was registerd with the SMART Project’s detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo), Seville and Madrid observatories.

Two of the Calar Alto Observatory (Almería) external surveillance webcam also could follow this object.

At 00h20 UT of August 18th  2021, a bright fireball could be seeing above Cuenca province (middle-east of Spain).  

This object was registered with the SMART Project's detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada), El Arenosillo (Huelva), La Hita (Toledo) and Seville observatories.

This time, two of the external surveillance webcams operated at Calar Alto Observatory in Almería, also recorded the nice event.

August 13th 2021

At 21h58 UT of last night of August 12th, a nice Perseid flew above Castilla y León (center Spain) skies.

This fireball was registered with the SMART Project’s detector operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo), Huelva and Seville observatories.

One of the external surveillance cameras operated at Calar Alto Observatory (Almería) also registered this event, demonstrating the impressive transparency of Calar Alto Skies, being able to clearly seeing these objects happening 500 km away from the observatory, with normal cameras.
