At 19h28 UT of last second of April, a bright fireball passed above Madrid and, mainly, Toledo provinces.

The object could be registered with the SMART Project’s detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Huelva, La Hita (Toledo), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada), Seville y El Aljarafe (Seville).

Two of the external cameras of Calar Alto Observatory in Almería also followed this event.

At 23h41 UT of last March 24th 2023, a bright fireball crossed Murcia province, just above Cartagena city.

This phenomenon was registered with the SMART Project’s detector operated at Calar Alto (Almería), La Hita (Toledo), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada) and Seville observatories.

Two of the external cameras of Calar Alto Observatory in Almería, could also follow the event.

A bright fireball crossed Sevillian skies at 01h07 UT on March 21st 2023.

SMART Project’s detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Huelva, La Hita (Toledo), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada), Seville and El Aljarafe (Seville) observatories registered this object.

Two of the external cameras operated at Calar Alto in Almería, also recorded the event.

March 12th 2023

A very bright fireball flew above Madrid and Segovia provinces at 01h24 UT of March 12th 2023.

This object could be registered with the SMART Project’s detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Huelva, La Hita (Toledo), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada) and Seville observatories.

Despite the big distance between Segovia and Calar Alto in Almería, this phenomena was also recorded with two of the external cameras of this observatory.

March 09th, 2029

At 22:15 UT on March 9, 2023, a bright fireball could be seen from the province of Jaen that crossed the sky in the direction of Ciudad Real (northeast).

This object was registered in the SMART Project detectors operated in Calar Alto (Almería), La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo) and OSN.

On this occasion, two of the external surveillance web cameras that operate at the Calar Alto Observatory in Almería also recorded the beautiful and cloudy event.
