Just an hour and a half later, at 21h31 of the same August 3rd, another Perseid iluminated the skies again.
This time, SMART Project’s detector operated at Calar Alto (Almería), La Hita (Toledo), Sierra Nevada (Granada), El Arenosillo (Huelva) and Seville operated, registered this fireball.
Again two of the Calar Alto Observatory external webcams recorded a nice videos of this event.
August 4th 2021
Last August 3rd at dusk, a nice and long Perseid flew above Castilla La Mancha and Andalucía skies.
This fireball could be registered with the SMART Project’s detector operated at Calar Alto (Almería), La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo), Madrid and Seville observatories.
Two Calar Alto Observatory external surveillance webcams also recorded this event.
July 24st 2021
Last night of July 23rd, a new bright fireball was detected flying above the north part of Andalusia, very close to Linares city.
SMART Project’s detector operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Seville, Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada) and La Hita (Toledo) observatories, registered this bright event.
And three of the Calar Alto Observatory (Almería) surveillance webcams also recorded this object.
July 3rd 2021
At 21h49 of July 2nd 2021, a fireball flew above Cuenca (South Spain) skies.
SMART Project’s detector operated at Calar Alto (Almería), La Sagra (Granada), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Hita (Toledo), Madrid, Cerro Negro (Seville) and Seville observatories registered the event.
External surveillance cameras operated at Calar Alto Observatory (Almería) also recorded this object.
June 22nd 2021
The last fireball of 2021 spring detected from Calar Alto Observatory took place on June 20th at 22h47 UT and it happened above Valencia (East Spain) skies.
This object was registered with the SMART Project's detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada) , La Hita (Toledo) and Seville observatories.
North surveillance camera operated at Calar Alto Observatory could also record this phenomenon.
