At 20:44 UT of last August 21st, 2015, a Southern iota-Aquarids associated fireball could be observed from both Calar Alto fireball detection station and surveillance east webcam. Although it was a low bright object, it remained visible for a long time.

The preliminary analysis shows this could be an earthgrazer that enters our atmosphere tangentially. Due to this, the fireball was not destroyed and left the atmosphere to continue following its trajectory around the sun with a modified orbit.

This object is associated with the Southern iota-Aquarids.
