TWIN upgrades

Two new dewars including CCDs (Site#20b for red chanel and Site#22b for the blue chanel) have been installed at the TWIN by Marien, Graser and Briegel. For more details about bias level, readout noise, etc, of the new CCDs please visit our CCD web page . The new dewars are each equipped with 3 piezos to adjust the CCD-detector for tilt and to optimize the distance between the CCD and the dewar window (which in effect is the field flattening lens) which result in an improvement of the resolution in the spectral direction.
