QuickTime Movie is here.
All images in the ALFA movie are 100 ms exposures taken with Omega-Cass. in K band. The observed object was a bright point source of magnitude V=8. The field of view is 2.56" x 2.56". The first 100 images are open loop data, the next 100 are with tip-tilt compensation on, and the last 100 images are with tip-tilt and high order compensation on. This kind of observing was done only to demonstrate how ALFA works. Usually the astronomer would do long exposures (in this case of 10 seconds). Below are the long exposure results.
