The total Exposure Time is the product of the Integration Time and the Number of Frames.

Calculations and Outputs

For a point source object the simulator also calculates the signal at the intensity peak.

NOTE: This is a modified version of the simulator found at Calar Alto. It was modified in throwing out some bugs and adding the ALFA pixelscales only. No actual measurements have been made regarding the sensitivity of the instrument with ALFA and thus its results should be regarded as estimates only!!!
