The very first ALFA results

Object: 72 Peg, 0.53" binary, mv = 5.75

Wavelenght: 2.2 micron

Exposure time: 12.7 sec

Instrument: MAGIC

Uncorrected, seeing: ~1.2":

Corrected, FWHM ~0.15":

This is a raw image without any image processing.

The large halo and the subsidiary peaks are due partially to the imperfect optical alignment and partially to the relatively low number of modes used for the correction.
